THe easiest way to to this is to use the Jetpack backup plugin, available to all wordpress.com clients.
Simply install the plugin on your local hostking wordpress dashboard, then connect it to your wordpress.com account via the prompts to sync your wordpress.com pages to your new local wordpress installation.
If the wordpress.com account later gets cancelled, remember to first disconnect the plugin after the sync completes.
